Rev. Samuel S. Shriver undertook this history in 1888, and Robert Campbell Shriver revised and updated it in 1976. This project to digitize the 1888 version, begun in March, 2002 and completed in March 2003 by J.D. Klein, involved scanning with optical character recognition of over 160 pages of 120-year-old text. While most of the scanning errors have been fixed, some may have inevitably been missed. If you find errors and let us know, we will be happy to make the corrections. Other Shriver history information is also welcome.
