The Union Mills Homestead is operated by the Union Mills Homestead Foundation, Inc. in partnership with Carroll County, which owns the property. As a non-profit organization, the Foundation relies heavily upon donations and membership support. Donations to the Foundation are used to operate, preserve, and maintain this unique historic landmark.

Membership entitles individuals to:

  • Free tours whenever the Homestead is open to public visitation and events, and
  • A subscription to the Homestead newsletter
